Grant application process:
Each of the 14 Abatement Regions has its own governance committee, meeting schedule, and application deadlines. Applicants should review the information on the Abatement Region tab and confirm the specific requirements and timelines for the region from which they are seeking funding.
After applications are submitted to the MOAT, they will go through the grant application process before being forwarded to the appropriate Abatement Region governance committee for approval or denial. Please allow 5–7 business days for your application to be sent to the regional committee.
Applications approved by the regional committee are then forwarded to the MOAT Advisory Committee for final review. Please note that the Advisory Committee meets quarterly to make final funding decisions.
